Obtaining a Prize.
Teaming up with a corporate sponsor can be mutually beneficial, to increase ticket sales for you and provide exposure to them. A sponsor can seed, guarantee, provide a prize, or offer coupons/discounts on tickets. The sponsor will have added incentive to promote the raffle to their staff members, contacts, and social media channels due to their financial involvement.
Selecting a Prize.
Select something which will be appealing to your base of supporters, whether it is a trip, a car, or money, ensure it caters directly to them. It should be something to get people mobilized and take immediate action for the chance to win. Ideally, your prize(s) should be sponsored or donated to provide you with direct profits from purchased raffle tickets.
Inputting a Prize.
When allocating your prizes, you will be required to name the prize and declare the retail value of the prize. Legally, many provincial regulators require this information to be stated to ticket buyers. The amount does not need to include taxes.
The system allows you to enter a brief description of your prize(s), drag and drop them to re-order them, edit them and move them from one draw to another if necessary.
Keep in mind that your raffle rules will state the order that the prizes will be drawn, so the order you enter the prizes in our system is the order in which we will draw for them.
